1967 Chevrolet Chevelle
A frame-off Chevelle project aimed at the autocross course and the street. Mark’s build starts with a Roadster Shop Fast Track chassis and a plan for serious tire clearance.
Chassis fitment
A new foundation for a ’67.
Mark’s Chevelle arrived in June 2026 for a full frame-off restoration. Chris outlined the planned combination: a Roadster Shop Fast Track chassis, a Don Hardy-built 440-cubic-inch LS9, a TREMEC T-56, and Forgeline wheels. The brief is a car that can work on an autocross course and still be enjoyed on the street.
The new chassis arrived later in the summer. By the next update, the team had rough fitted it under the Chevelle’s body. That fitment establishes the relationship between the body, frame, wheels, and the fabrication still to come.
Next up is rear tire clearance: opening the wheel wells to the frame, positioning a 345-section tire, and hand-building new tubs around it. The gallery follows the project from its arrival through the first chassis fitment.
