Chris Cerce Customs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through ChrisCerceCustoms.com, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect
Information you provide
When you submit a project inquiry or contact us, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and preferred contact method
- Information about your vehicle, proposed build, desired services, timing, and other project details
- Messages, photographs, documents, or other information you choose to provide
- Records of our communications with you
- Additional project and client information if you choose to work with us
Submitting an inquiry does not enroll you in a newsletter or unrelated marketing list.
Information collected automatically
Our website and service providers may automatically receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring pages, dates and times, security and error logs, and cookie or consent choices.
If Google Analytics or Google Ads is enabled, and your cookie choice permits it, we may also collect general website-use and campaign information such as approximate location, page interactions, referral source, ad clicks, and whether an inquiry was successfully submitted. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, project descriptions, or other form contents to Google Analytics or Google Ads.
How We Use Information
- Respond to and follow up on your inquiry
- Evaluate whether a proposed project is a fit
- Discuss estimates, timing, availability, and project requirements
- Schedule, perform, document, and manage work if you become a client
- Operate, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the website
- Understand website performance and measure advertising when those tools are enabled and permitted by your cookie choice
- Prevent spam, fraud, misuse, or security incidents
- Meet legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations
We do not sell or rent the contact or project information submitted through this website. We do not provide it to unrelated businesses for their own direct marketing.
When Information Is Shared
We share information only as reasonably necessary with providers that help operate the website and communicate with you. These may include:
- Website hosting and content-management services, including Hostinger and WordPress
- Website delivery, security, and spam-prevention services, including Cloudflare
- Form-processing and email-delivery software, including Breakdance Forms and FluentSMTP
- Email providers, including Yahoo
- Analytics and advertising providers, including Google, if those services are enabled and your cookie choice permits them
- Professional advisers or public authorities when reasonably necessary to protect rights, investigate misuse, or comply with law
These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy commitments while performing services for us.
The website may link to Instagram, Printful, media publications, vendors, and other third-party websites. Once you follow an external link, that third party’s privacy policy applies. Purchases made through an external merchandise store are handled by that store under its own terms; this website does not collect your payment-card information.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Necessary cookies and storage support security, network delivery, form operation, fraud prevention, and remembering your privacy choices. These functions cannot reasonably be disabled through the cookie controls.
Analytics cookies may be used, if enabled and accepted, to understand website traffic and use.
Advertising cookies may be used, if enabled and accepted, to measure Google Ads campaigns and conversions. Personalized advertising or remarketing will not be enabled without appropriate notice and controls.
Nonessential analytics and advertising storage remains disabled unless you allow it through the cookie controls. Rejecting nonessential cookies will not prevent you from viewing the site or submitting a project inquiry.
How Long We Keep Information
- Inquiries that do not become active projects are generally retained for no more than 24 months after the last meaningful communication.
- If you become a client, project and communication records may be kept for as long as reasonably necessary to complete and support the work, maintain warranty and business records, resolve disputes, and satisfy accounting or legal obligations.
- Security logs, cookie-consent records, and backup copies are retained according to operational, security, and provider schedules and are deleted or overwritten in the ordinary course.
We may retain information longer when reasonably necessary for an ongoing dispute, legal requirement, or security investigation. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it non-identifying where reasonably practical.
Your Choices and Requests
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information you previously submitted. Email ChrisCerceCustoms@yahoo.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and identify the email address or phone number associated with your inquiry.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will evaluate and respond to requests as required by applicable law. Some information may need to be retained for active projects, legal obligations, security, accounting, or legitimate recordkeeping.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because there is no uniform industry standard for browser Do Not Track signals, the website does not separately respond to them. You can control optional website storage through Cookie Settings.
We do not currently sell personal information or share form-submission information for cross-context behavioral advertising. This site begins with nonessential storage disabled. Before practices such as personalized advertising or remarketing are enabled, this policy and the site’s controls will be reviewed and updated as required.
Third parties may collect information about activity over time and across websites when their analytics, advertising, social-media, or embedded-content technology is permitted to load. Our cookie controls are intended to prevent optional analytics and advertising technology from loading unless allowed.
Children’s Privacy
This website and our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information was submitted, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No website, email service, or Internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the website, providers, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects information already submitted, we may provide an additional prominent website notice or contact affected individuals when required by law.
